Altadena, CA, where we are from, and our neighbors in Pacific Palisades (yes, neighbors, because we have learned how tight California is) were ravaged by hurricane winds and fire at the beginning of the year.
17,000 families lost homes and businesses.
Sales from our extra virgin olive oil, Beautiful Altadena go toward providing fresh produce boxes to the fire victims.
Since 2009 we've only ever sold California Olive Oils. Recently our good friends in Tuscany sent us their lovely product as a contribution to our fundraising efforts. It's a warm gesture - an olive branch indeed, from across the Atlantic.
